A beautiful fall afternoon gleaning arugula at Bear Roots Farm.

Volunteers don’t just join us out in the fields. Some days we visit and build community over less physically demanding projects like stuffing letters for the annual fundraising mailing.

And THANKS to the many other individuals, businesses, and partners that also made contributions in 2025, making the work of Community Harvest of Central Vermont possible.

In the first few days of November 27 volunteers joined us to glean the majority of the apples we got in 2025. In just two days we cleaned out most of what was left in the orchard, some 3,545 pounds.
